Individual Counseling for Adults

Sessions fully focused on the adult individual where we can focus on you, your strengths, and problem areas you want to address.

I have extensive experience working with college students, young adults (ages 18-25+), young professionals and adults. In working together, I will help you uncover the root causes of your problems and support you in building awareness and self-compassion. I strive to empower you with the skills and tools you need to alleviate your symptoms, build healthier relationships, and move forward so you can reach your personal, academic and career goals.

Online Counseling (also referred to as Telemedicine or Telehealth) is available. Online Counseling is a flexible, convenient, and effective resource to help you start therapy. I use a HIPAA-compliant video and phone counseling platform so you can feel sure your information remains secure and confidential.

Adolescence is the period of time during which a young person develops from a child to an adult. It’s a time where teens are seeking independence and creating new relationships. They are building their own unique identity, and becoming their own person. For many teens, this process can be complex and confusing. Problems like depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, toxic stress and trauma can make this process feel chaotic.

As a parent, it can be challenging to watch your teen struggle or to feel at odds with your child. In therapy, I work with your teen and family to build insight in to the source of their pain and struggle, and support your teen by teaching them skills to reduce their distress.

Therapy services are offered for teens ages 16 and older.

Groups provide support, connection and increased understanding while group members work on similar struggles. Groups are a way to increase knowledge and connection, as well as a way to receive feedback from others to help each individual continue to grow. Groups can include peer support, skill enhancement, as well as Psychodrama interventions.

Upcoming Group Counseling Opportunities:

This group aims to provide a safe space for young adults who struggle with BFRB’s to find community and support, and to increase skill sets to manage and decrease hair pulling and skin picking behaviors.
